swiggy
Anyone tried this unit in front of a digital modeler ? It seems it makes your modeler respond like a tube preamp... thanks for any input Vince
Meriphew_dup1
Haven't used it in that situation, but I think it could add a bit more "feel" to the model. The Valvulator is a must have when you've got more than a few fx in line. www.meriphew.com
lure555
I know someone who used one in front of his POD Pro and loved it. When I was using a Flextone I used an H&K Tube Factor, and was really happy with it. lure
davidp158
One of my favorite local guitarist just got one, and claims it makes a big improvement in his tone. I would guess that its a combination of fixing some impedance imbalances and/or just sending a hotter signal through his effects. Whatever, he claims it really helps his tone a lot. This guy is a montster player, who plays a lot of clean to mild overdrive tones. dave patterson
Skip_dup1
I got one around Christmas last year. I haven`t done too much with it in my main setup yet, but it makes the tone from my little practice amp sing!
