freddynl
Hello, I tried a search but apparantly not discussed here. I am offerred a gibson nighthawk (standard with two pickups). (1993-1994) I wonder how you specialists think about it. I never played or heard one, I only read about these models recently and I'm specially interested how well they do in a studio mix and live performance.? Thanks for any comments. Tedster
Ultimately, I'd say that you were the specialist on that one. I think that the Nighthawk was another attempt by Gibson to compete with Fender on Fender's home turf. I haven't played one. But, if it sounds good to you, and it plays well, I'd say go for it if the price is right. Play it...let us know what you think! Thanks... Gabriel E.
Those were pretty good if I remember. 25-1/2" scale like on a Fender. Sort of a twangier LP Jr. How much $$? "You never can vouch for your own consciousness." - Norman Mailer

freddynl
Thanks for the review link! I have to drive approx 100 miles to get it, so looks promissing and worthwhile after reading the review... I 'll let you know when I bought it. It's $ 645,-- in good condition including hardcase. gigging favorites at the moment LP Special order 1973 and PRS custom
Gabriel E.
Sounds like a good deal. Lettuce know. BTW, the only bad thing I heard about those guitars was that there are no off-the-shelf lead pickup replacements available.
