geeclef28_dup1
I've been looking for a string damper for a while. I wanna know if you guys know of a dealer that sells the "emonirt" damper. I've been to the Jennifer Batten site, but I really don't like that damper. (It's plain ugly). Anywayz, thanx for the help. What am I doing tonight? Gabriel E.
Try this: Get a hair "scrunchie" (puffy elastic hair band) from your local pharmacy. Put it around the headstock of the guitar and above the nut. When you want to damp the strings, simply slide it between the nut and the first fret. I used to do this when I was into learning the two-handed thing and didn't want to mod my guitar. Plus it only costs $1.00. BTW, Jennifer batten is amazing. I went to a clinic by her about 12 years ago. She left all the speed freaks with their jaws on the floor.
