not coaster MODERATOR Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 From the research I've done it seems that TC has been working much harder than UA to iron out the bugs. My original gripe was I need outboard/dsp reverb because waves was killing the host. So I get my wish because most reviewers have given the pcore verb a decent rating. It seems there will be more plugs porting over in the near future. Can't wait to get up and running. S/B sometime this week. I haven't recorded since last August.

Jotown Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 I have the UAD card and I will be getting the Powerore in March.(They are cutting the price by a hundred bucks due to the new card with Lightpipe) I know a few people who are using both on a PC running WinXP and CubaseSX, so I want it all cause I am greedy. All I am waiting for now is LexiPowerVerb PCI card. It just hasn't been invented yet, but it is coming. Good luck. :thu: Jotown:) "It's all good: Except when it's Great"
Brittanylips Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 Plus, TC Powercore will do Audio Units, I believe, which will make ALL the difference since there will a number of plug-ins coming out in Audio Units format.
