mystic_blues
Question: I have a early 50's Airline amp, which sounds great. The one problem I have is the fact that I live in a high-rise apartment building, so I can't turn it up very loud. The amp breaks up nicely when both the amp and guitar are set to 10. But this is a little too loud for my neighbors. I was wondering what I could swap in to help give me more overdrive with less volume. The tubes are from right to left, 6AU6, 6V6, and 6X5GT. Also I need to know if it would need to be rebiased when I swap tubes. Thanks! Grooves, Tubes, and Brand New Shoes... Lock up your Daughters, I'm Mystic Blues!
