WorkerAntBen
Hi everyone...Ive been looking for a new guitar for while now, and the Tacoma in Guitar center is selling for like 540 bucks. Its a really nice acoustic, but I want to get it with a pick up. Only thing I would like is for this guitar to have a cutaway so I could play chords higher on the board while using capos....but Im willing to let it go....this guitar sounds great, and the price is good. I dont wanna spend more than 800 max. Ill be using this guitar for recording as well as live playing Anyone have any comments about tacomas or acoustic pickups? Bob Keelan
I think you get alot of guitar for the money with the Tacomas. I've heard so many good things about Carvin but I'd be sooo nervous buying an acoustic guitar through the mail.
Christopher
I like their cheapo stuff. It's quality stuff, and the Chiefs have the fastest necks I've seen on an acoustic guitar. As the price goes up, though, there's more competition from other brands, eg. Larrivee and Alvarez-Yairi. The Carvins come with a 10 day no-questions-asked return policy, so if you don't like the instrument, you can always chuck it back in the mail for a refund.
