Yes. Just match the impedances. Make sure that the ohms of the output match the ohms of the cab. It's okay to be off by one degree with a tube amp you can have an 8ohm output and a 16ohm cab. However, if your amp has a 4ohm output and the cab is 16ohms, you will damage your amp. Solid States work the opposite.

 

I had a '68 Princeton Reverb that I used to power my Mesa 4x12 with. The Princeton had an 8ohn output and the cab was 8ohms. It sounded great.
