not coaster MODERATOR
Hey bro, have you done any mods to you VK? Typically I'm always thinking of little tweaks for my little amp but I must say I don't know what could possibly be done to improve your amp. It's the most pick responsive box I've ever played. Is your reverb the exact same as the reissue reverb tank made by Fender? Do you use pedals? The only thing I might consider in a VK is a little more clean HR but then again, I like the low volume break up in most situation I play in. Dont't know about the reverb? I had my tech disconect the Speed and Intensity pots.I plug in to the loop to by pass the reverb pots, And the Bogner cab sure made a diffrence also, all these little things helped make the sound a little fatter. I got the amp to hold me over til I got my new amp. I have been waiting on a OD-100 for, well.....to long to type down! I bought the VK for $900.00 I was going to sell it when I get my new one but, no way I'm going to sell it now. I think it is one of the best amps Fender has made. Here is a pic of my pedals... http://home.online.no/~llrustad/hugeracksinc/you/thdrawer.jpg http://home.online.no/~llrustad/hugeracksinc/you/thrack.jpg
not coaster MODERATOR
How does that pedal drawer work-does it lower down to floor level? You got some nice stuff there. The 808 looks very clean.
surfjunkie
wow, that is a nice, tidy setup. those pedals don't have any scratches! they have never been on a stage floor, or tossed in a gig bag. CAE makes some amazing pedalboards, i'll bet Uncle's is "not pictured".

The 808 looks very clean. The silver unit is a Custom System Interface and all the pedal run into the back of the unit. I have a snake (like 5 guitar cables) runing out to my RS-10 and that does all the switching. The lowest 4 switches will give me 4 setings per song. and it has 32 banks. Any one of the 4 switchs can turn ON or OFF: Pedals / MPX-1 / Chandler echo (is mounted in the rear of the rack). Any combo with the click of one switch..So with one switch I can turn on the Chandler echo, Voodoo 1, ts-808 and change the patch on the MPX-1..Hit another switch and they all go off but maybe the TS-808 stays on with a little verb from the MX-1. Here is a pic of the board with the RS-10 http://home.online.no/~llrustad/hugeracksinc/you/thboard.jpg
not coaster MODERATOR
Now I gotcha. I didn't see the switchboard. You've got to have the best tone in town with that setup.
