Ok, so I posted my music and was instantly told to read a link where some senior members ripped on a guy trying to introduce himself. Parts of it actually made me laugh although it was kinda harsh. Anyway. It's my first day here and I think I'll just see what you've all been talking about before I proceed further.

Damn, Tedster, you never bought me a drink before.

Funk, you'll find this to be a very informative and friendly forum. So long as you don't come in here flaming away.

I always dig hearing peoples stuff, so throw us a link and I'll put my headphones on. :thu:

Actually, I didn't say I was buying him a drink. I said "Whatcha drinkin'? It's on me". Meaning, I think he spilled his beer on me.

HAHAHAHA...kidding...a round for us all on my tab, bartender...

What's your setup? Guit? Amp? Studio?

Hello everyone, and thank you for the warm welcome. I'm a guitar instructor. I've been playing for 21 years. I'm into good guitar in any style. I'm well schooled in music, and I play mostly rock instrumentals. Nuff, said here. If you'd like the answers to the questions above. Check out my web site. I'm not trying to be self promotional. Remember, you asked.

Man. Good to have another knowledgeable man here. Welcome, have fun. All the old guys here are great. (I'm one of the young'uns) They're always glad to help people and know their stuff. The Unknown and On the Hunt are great songs man! Very Satch, Vai, prog rock. Great guitar work.

Hello funky :)

Hey man - lighten up - we only go nutty and angry when people advertise stuff - with no intention to return.

:)

Tedster - You never offered me a drink either :( *cries*

hehe :)

Just checked out your website.

First of all, put on a shirt good man!

As far as your playing, I thought is was clean and melodic. The overall sound reminded me of Dream Theatre or what Neil Schon has been doing lately. Not exactly my bag. I'm a rock and roller, so instrumentals get a bit old to me.

What amp(s) are you using with your Jem?

What guitarzan said, except when he starts thinkin' he's old all he has to do is remember I've probably got the top spot as far as age goes.

Definately stick around & see how things are going. There's very little flaming going on here these musicplayer forums but they are somewhat hard on spammers. That mostly depends on you well you take the first couple of salvos.

Welcome

Yeah, I learned the hard way...(I got tired of the thread coming back to life, so I had Craig delete it...time to move on...)

Good luck and welcome...

There are some really terrific folks in here...even the ones that ripped on me were ultimately great guys...and fine musicians...

Anyway, you're a fine player and your input will be a benefit to all who read or listen...

Peace,

Scott

Yes, it did stop me. Not every time but I've only really drank twice and never got drunk. I have to be 21 to drink here but I have no desire to so I don't really care what the legal limit is. Same with smoking. I consider both to be rather stupid.
