Dimarzio "Virtual PAF"--anyone try it?

I'm trying to decide on a new bridge pickup for one of my guitar--a tele copy, alder body (medium brightness, in terms of tone), maple neck/fretboard. Good "thunk" on the attack, nice ring to the mids, sorta "snarky" lows (first few frets on the low E), nice voice on the higher notes, and sustains well.

I've used a FRED in the guitar and had good results, but the FRED might be a bit too "tough" for what I'm looking for out of this guitar. I want to take advantage of the clarity of the voice of this guitar without choking it, but still get nice swell and burn when I dig in--a pickup that works well with "higher gain" sounds that way, without sounding plastic...or fuzzy either (which the FRED can do, especially when the strings are fresh). I want to still really hear the timbre of the wood (and of course some clarity in the chording at higher gain would be nice, just in case I actually start learning some chords, lol!)

Has anyone here used the "Dimarzio Virtual PAF"? That's DP197(F) (and not the PAF, or PAF Pro). Or, has anyone here used the "Air Classic" Bridge Model DP191(F)? I think I'm probably going to get one of these two, based on their descriptions. The Virtual PAF's description sounds like a perfect blend for the guitar's bridge position, but it's a bit hard to tell by a description alone.

I'm probably going to order one of those two, and if it doesn't work out exchange it for the other. Anyone who can help though...well I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
