Hardly. The only girl I care about, and the only girl who cares about me, is my first (and ONLY) girlfriend, for a year and 3 months now, Rachel. She's a godess in a girl's body The only one I ever cared about actually - and the only one who bothered with me - I met her on the internet, y'see, before she saw my ugly mug Then found out we went to the same school. Ah'Lamour! =) She actually is VERY keen on becoming a bassist - but as I mentioned before - money is a real problem here in this small town. no jobs - and doing our final year of school doesnt help the free time factor. My dad bought that guitar for me and paid $125 in 1965... I played that guitar until I sold it to buy my first Martin in 1972...if I'd only known; by 1976 it would have been worth about $3K, by 1996 about $25K.... Tedster
Why thanks, Wick...I don't play bass in a church band...at least not at the moment. Dak...love that porch scene...that's the way guitars were meant to be enjoyed. Now tell me that if I was there, I'd be smelling chicken or ribs or both slow smoking on the barbecue...that makes the picture complete. WF, you bear a resemblance to my buddy Don. Don's a plumber by trade, and a good beer drinking buddy of mine (when I opt to have a couple of cold ones, mind ya). At any rate, a fine looking and diverse crowd. So when are we all gonna get together and have a huge pick-fest and barbecue??? "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
dave251
Speaking of bbq, my buddy Brett(the one that's building the amp), has a gin-u-wine Texas sized hog cooker on a trailer...and he knows how to use it.... And for those of you who live more than 100 miles from KC...THE BEST BBQ IN THE WORLD!! Dave Wendler Instruments

After all, itd cost you guys half as much to come over here as it would me go over there - the value of your money would double - think of the things you could buy here, for half the price of your stuff. Especially guitars. If you came over with 300 american, youd turn that to 600 aussie, and be able to afford twice as much heh... pity everything costs twice as much here too! hehe. DOH in all seriousness - you wouldnt get much for the exchange rate - im just messing with the economy...
