hrn
If the strong always win and the weak always loose. Is this the right way to go? Any war is always a defeat for humanity!!!! Mr Bush; You don't need pitched battles to be remembered as a great man. When I saw you become the president of the US I got afraid. I saw it in your eyes. You're a dangerous man! Beware, you can go to history as the man who destroyed or should I say bombed the UN and the commonwealth in the western countries....Do you have a small penis? It's a very valid point in arguing that the Darwinian concept of evolution goes against our human values, where it is considered noble to protect the weak. hrn
It's actually Christian values. Jesus would stand aside the poor and the weak. I'm not a Christian myself, but I think it's a question to answer for everyone. Hans, www.hagen.nu

hrn
Tedster the Love Doctor, I think human evolution is going towards more and more greed. I even think we're taught to go this way. Common sense is: Let's help each other and be happy....We are all living on a ball with a limited storage of oxygen in the darkness of universe. ...And help the warlords with psychiatrists or plastic surgeons or a barber for to large mustaches. If so did those who teach us greed evolve into teaching us greed also? Did we evolve into being more receptive to those who teach greed? Are those who teach us imbued with some alien presence? Are they the dreaded THEM? Are they THE MAN! (GASP)! What is circumlocution, anyway? Ask you're wife this, If a man walks into a forest and says something that nobody hears, is he still wrong? hrn
lliB_retsoF, I'm talking about the society, society teaches. Regular people can still be the same (most are, but getting more and more angry). Society changes towards greed and only the strong win. The strong even get an award for it. What about the vanquished. Hans

So, regular. I too believe that the human race has degenerated into a bunch of greedy, no good pigs. I use the money I have for stuff I need, first and foremost. Chip McDonald
Evolution is the fight against entropy. With dumb lower animals vicious behavior wins out. Higher evolved animals develope family structures and benefit from that. Humans are now at a stage where the transition to a global "family" is taking place. "Only the strong" won't apply here, because it *has* to be tempered with intelligent control. Because of the nature of the dynamic of the interaction of large masses of people and the power they wield on a global scale, indiscriminant use of strength is unlikely to yield ultimately the reward for which it was used. King George flexes America's might in the middle east; meanwhile we lose NATO, North Korea takes that as a cue to do whatever, China is probably reconsidering taking Taiwan back, and the billions of dollars the war is going to cost - combined with the deficit going into the trillions thanks to the idiot's lack of an economic plan - means the *strong* might actually fall. Hussein might be gone, but the economy falls apart, inflation makes a large majority of the population "poor", and terrorism in the states makes life "unlivable", North Korea arms the rest of the planet's terrorists, and no other country on the planet cares if the U.S. gets attacked. In which case "the strong" does not always win. patrick_dont_fret
You are correct, sir. Every kingdom, nation, what have you will fall at some point. Maybe thousands of years, maybe weeks. Ours has been 200 some odd years...it might be time for it to collapse.
