DSD
A guy I know needed some money and sold me his fender quad reverb amp for $125. It needs a couple of speakers and the reverb doesn't work. I'm not familiar with this amp I am guessing it is a twin reverb amp with 4 speakers. It sounds great, Anybody know anything about this amp? Gabriel E.
It's a Twin with 4 speakers. Albert Collins used one. "You never can vouch for your own consciousness." - Norman Mailer
Sylver
That's a steal even if you have to replace the reverb unit and the speakers. I really don't know what to put here.

Thanks Dave Dalton Sound Science StudioDave, The Quad Reverb was made between 1972 and the start of 1979. It is a twin reverb chassis and circuit. It had 4 12" speakers that are 16 ohm speakers in parallel, as to keep the expected 4 ohm load on the output transformer of the twin reverb circuit. They are pretty nice amps, but even worse to carry than the already heavy twin reverbs. The non-working reverb is a pretty easy thing to fix, it may be the driver tube, cables, or if the reverb tank itself is bad, that is pretty easily replaced and not all that expensive. Buying four new 12" speakers though, is not all that cheap, and make sure they are 16 ohm speakers. If you need some leads on speaker suppliers or reverb tank suppliers, drop me an email from my website. Hope this helped in some way. Myles S.
