Dig
I have just purchased a Dean XVO at my local store. I read where Zelinsky is back to bring the company back. But I have never considered a Dean before. I was actually looking at an Epiphone Les Paul. All things considerd would you say the Dean is equal too or better than the Epi? They are built very similar and sound close too. Is the Dean well made? It does use Grovers but not too sure about its other parts. Thanks for info. Wickerman
Well, depends on the Epiphone Paul... The Les Paul Standards and Customs from Epiphone are better than most the crap Gibson's putting out today. (Gibson's really down down the "ter-lit") The sound great and feel (in my opinion) better than Gibson's. The Epi Les Pauls have real nice necks when you spend $500 and up. I also really love Deans. I'm a big fan of getting cheap guitars that are great deals. I don't like spending over a grand on a guitar. The Deans aren't as good as the Epiphones in my opinion but there's nothing wrong with the Deans. Dean makes very good guitars for the money. They sound and feel very good and, from what I've heard, hold together real well. Epiphone's high end Les Pauls are just a little better in my opinion.
