Skip_dup1 Posted March 25, 2002 Share Posted March 25, 2002 Hey all- Taking a break here for a few days-it's about 85 degrees and beautiful out-we're at the end of the dry season. Might get into some scuba diving tomorrow. This country is a blast, but you do have to watch yourself-mess up here and they'll find you in a field somewhere. As some of you may know, there's a group of guitar makers across the bay, who make some very fine sounding and inexpensive acoustics. I tried to get one back home once before but it was during Christmas break. Between the hot season here and Christmas time in Japan, it pretty much torpedoed the guitar. this time I'm hoping to get the timing better, even bought a little humidifier. Wish me luck... There were some really nice acoustic instruments made back then. I'm sure they've gotten better. Good luck in getting them home. I wish America offered more chances to bargain-it's how most of the world does business. 'No-haggle' prices are good ways to stunt your growth.
