Dak Lander
I've only been on this set of forums for a short while. Myles, you are amazing. I've been trying to understand some things about tubes & tube amps for a while & never got anything straight. You've made more damned sense, in fewer words than anyone I've ever heard postulate on amps & tubes. It is starting to make some sense. I'm thinking now that when I go out and buy my own (not shared with my son) tube amp I'll be able to have a real clue as to what I can expect in regard to changing tubes for a desired effect, amongst other things. I've said it before but have to say it again. I read every post that you're involved in, just because I know that I'll learn something. Thanks one hell of a lot! myles_rose
Thanks to both of you folks. I will continue to try to keep this as simple or complex as folks want, and try as a primary focus, to dispell a lot of the rumors and bunk that sometimes crop up into the subject of amps in general. Thanks again to both of you. Myles Myles S. hechtdavid
Ditto on the kudos for Myles. YOU da MAN Myles! Thanks for all your consistent help. Why don't you let us folks in the heartland know when you're on tour so we can buy you a beer (or 5). DH
