realtrance Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 But lo and behold, the terrorists are us. We have nothing to fear but ourselves. Millions around the world are in protest against the Bush Administration's war-mongering. Hundreds of thousands at home have already conducted their protests. We are at a historical crossroads: will a rational, internationalist, progressive perspective lead the world, or will it be driven further into darkness, paranoia, destruction and despair by a small, greedy minority whose legitimacy in its political and economic power (I speak of the Bush Administration, not the US as a whole) is questionable at best? rt
george costanza Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 I know some people that live in Eastern Kentucky, in a college town where the US has had a store of nerve gas for decades.[& I'm sure that's only one location.] The US Army can't come to a decision on how to get rid of it...is it logical to expect that a place like Iraq should've done so?
