Wickerman
It's pretty good. I prefer my Digitech RP300 but the ME-33 is pretty good. When I was buying a multi-effects processor I was looking at the Digitech RP300, Boss ME-33, Johnson J-Station and the POD. After A/B/C/D them I decided on the RP300. It's simple to set-up and you can switch quickly between banks. Not to mention it had the best phaser.
Sylver
Multi effects are evil. I really don't know what to put here.

jurgen1972
You should try the boss GT6. I myself have a GT3, and I absolutely love it. only the foot wah and acoustic guitar simulator are no good, but apart of that it sounds like a bunch of Boss stomp boxes in series. it really does! I didn't believe in multi FX any more (after having bought and sold a bunch of other brands), but this one gave me back my belief. the GT3 is also fairly easy to edit, the GT6 is even better. it also has a lot of handy features (real-time control and stuff). if you can hear the sound in your head, you can build it with this device !! In the FX loop? Not argue but Ive yet run into anyone who likes the gt3 (myself) included. I spent hours tweakin and go very little in return. I have heard great things about the GT6. I kept my GT3 for about 3 weeks. As for the ME33, it was OK but squealed into the Fender deluxe i had it set up with (live). I was not crazy about it either. I did not find that it (or the Gt3) sounded like Boss stompboxes. It was better for distortions than the GT3. IMO peel

jurgen1972
skip, I agree ! you forgot (f) you can save your patches ! peel, I put it between my guitar and amp. Don't follow the instructions in the user manual (about turning some controls up to 10 and others down to 0, that's crap) As an amp I use a Marshall JCM800, which is great. DC
I love my GT-3. It's the first tubeless thing I've ever used live with good results. The crunch pre amp should be put in a stomp box by itself. There's a patch using it called clean/lead that you could use all night along with your guitar's volume control. I like my Cry Baby better, but the wa is useable. I think the individual effects sound very similar to the stomp box equivalents. -David http://www.garageband.com/artist/MichaelangelosMuse
