Skip_dup1
Hey- Just caught Allan Holdsworth live in a trio setting this past weekend. Dang that guy is good! I mean, he has captured a completely original musical language-to say nothing of the cleanest distorted lead tone on the planet. Awsome...

It brings me down thinking about Holdsworth's situation, I hope he's got a good gig going on somewhere. Skip_dup1
Ya, I read a GP interview some time ago that pissed me off. It`s ridiculous, the crap he`s had to put up with. I don`t EVEN wanna get started. Anyway, the other two players were massively good of course. My only minor point is that it would have been nice to hear him experiment more tonally, but what he has is so perfect...
gtrmac
Holdsworth is incredible. I wish I knew how he gets that tone, as far as his chops, I know how he got them- PRACTICE! Mac Bowne G-Clef Acoustics Ltd. Osaka, Japan
