Compact Diss Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 The remains of legendary rock guitarist Jimi Hendrix have been moved from their initial site to a new elaborate memorial in the same burial ground, Greenwood Memorial Park and Cemetery, just outside Seattle, according to the AP. While the first grave site was marked only by a simple flat stone reading "Forever in Our Hearts - James M. Jimi Hendrix 1942-1970," the new memorial features a granite dome nearly 30 feet high supported by granite columns trimmed in "rainbow" marble. ... from MTV.com
patrick_dont_fret Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 You forgot to mention a bronze Jimi on top...yeah, I know. Pretty cool...the place was muddy to start with. Needed to be done. So does Jim Morrison's.

Botch. Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 When they dug him up they found a bunch of blank pages and a half-used eraser in his coffin. Guess he was decomposing... Botch "Eccentric language often is symptomatic of peculiar thinking" - George Will www.puddlestone.net
jeffbayson Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 I read somewhere that David Crosby just moved. For the first time in 10 years. Specifically, he moved his arm to pick some donut crumbs off shirt. He tried to drop them into his mouth, but passed out first. Thankfully the White Russian IV drip will keep him going for a while.
