Philip OKeefe Posted October 5, 2001 Share Posted October 5, 2001 Try soaking it in warm water for a couple of hours. Sometimes when the wood gets too dry it shrinks. Soak it, and then let it dry for a day or so and se if that makes it stay put any better. If that doesn't work, you can glue it with carpenter's wood glue, but then it's in there forever. Or you can put a layer of plumber's teflon thread tape around it, which will make it thicker and thus fit in the hole more snugly. This stuff is also great for loose fitting Strat trem bars.
