db 1 Posted July 26, 2001 Share Posted July 26, 2001 I've noticed with some guitars and basses when plugged into a direct box I get a noise/buzz and when you turn the instrument back and forth it goes away or gets louder. It's usually with active electronics. Some instruments will do it and some don't do it. I was wondering if I could add a switched capacitor or ? to a direct box to eliminate this problem when it comes up on different instruments or what realistic solution is there? Thanks for any help.
