Rick Turner Posted June 24, 2001 Share Posted June 24, 2001 The easy thing to do is go to Luthiers Mercantile or Stewart MacDonald Guitar Shop Supply and get their templets for it. The tech answer is that the formula is based on the 12 root of 2. 12 is the number of equal divisions of the octave which is 2 times the fundamental.
