Mesa Boogie Mark IV combo - how much?

Hey all,

I've got a Mesa Boogie Mark IV combo (tweed/cherry wood?/12" EV Black Shadow) which I bought new from Mesa around 1991. It's in great shape physically and sonically - It's been played about 5 times over the past 5 years). What do you think I can get for it?

Thanks,

Dave

Depends on if you're in a big city or not. Not that desirable of a used amp; a low of $350 to probably no more than $650-700, which I would consider "high".

I personally like the amp, although it's the most finicky amp ever made control wise: the tiniest little incremental change of a tone control does drastic things. You have to tweak and tweak, and when it starts "happening" have the maturity to say "stop"... But I've seen a lot of those used because guys tend to have trouble getting a non-fizzy sound from them. Bright amp....
