Brakka
When I first saw Aeon Flux on Mtv's Liquid Television awhile back, I was shocked. I had seen some anime (before it was an American fad) and I didn't really get into it. Since then I've seen other Japanimation (ooh- the manga/anime freaks hate that word), but nothing really hooked me. Reign: The Conquerer's characters were designed by the guy behind Aeon Flux, with animation by Madhouse. It's not brand-new, but I had never heard of it before seeing an ad for the series' tv debut coming up Feb 10 on Cartoon Network. I am all over this. It's based on the story of Alexander the Great, but with a "Sci-fi twist" (read: crazy futuristic technology). I've heard that it is quite violent and racy, so I'm sure Cartoon Network has a censored version. I've never seen this, so I can't say that I like it. But I'm definitely intrigued...
