giulio
hi there, a few years ago I've watched a movie which featured a classroom with many students playing wurlitzer pianos(in fact I think it was a unique piano with four keyboards)hearing themselves with hearphones, while the teacher could choose whom listen to. Does anybody know the title of the movie?and, why not?, post here every movie featuring a wurlitzer,as far as you can remember it... J_tour
I'd be interested in this one as well. There was an episode of "Monk" called "Mr. Monk Goes to a Rock Concert" (or similar) -- the sole keyboard present at the rock show was a Wurlitzer 200A-style piano. "Ray," obviously, as well. Can't think of too many others -- more Rhodes examples are out there than Wurlitzer, it seems to me ("Caddyshack"?).
ABECK
I'm gonna bust out 'Eddie and the Cruisers' - the scene at the beach house where Eddie is teaching the new guy about "Rock and Roll." You can only see the back of the Wurli, but it's one of the beige ones.
robotwolf
Norah Jones is playing a Wurlitzer in Rosie's Lullaby video that can be seen on amazon.com. Gismo Recording
Giulio. I believe the scene you're referring to was in "Alice's Restaurant". Arlo Guthrie was one of the students and he was playing something other than what the class was supposed to be playing and the teacher asked "Who wrote that crap?" and he replied "I did."
