Franknputer Posted February 8, 2003 Posted February 8, 2003 Tech support sucks. Yeah, usually that's the opinion of the person GETTING the support, but giving it can be a bitch, too. Sitting at home, all ready for bed...RING,RING...my wife says, "See you tomorrow..." and now I'm at the office at 3:30 AM uploading files. $#&@$^#(@^$#!!!! Happy Saturday, Y'all.
Gus Lozada Posted February 8, 2003 Posted February 8, 2003 It's even nicer when you have mails from Europe (7 to 8 hours ahead) or South America (3 hours ahead) then when you wake up "early" (by 7 am your time) your customers have been awake for half a day and guess what... it's urgent :D Anyway, I enjoy it. It's a thousand times better than being the honorable Materials Manager of a Textile company :freak: I was one year ago... MS is your friend. So is any other technology company, except for those in Japan. :) rt

I have been the M-Audio's Latin American Tech Support Manager for the last 6 months. Of course, being at the forum and working for "EQ en Español" magazine and some other stuff helped me to get here. We work to guarantee we will have satisfed customers, specially when they are NOT while having a MIDI / Audio moment with our stuff :D BTW... do you want Craig or me to tell you how rich are we getting by moderating a forum? :p However, I really love to check my forum as frequently as possible.
