mr_mez
Hi all, Just playing with the settings on my XK-1. I don't suppose anyone has accurate fast & slow rotor speed measurements for a 'real' Leslie 122/147? Thanks in advance! Best wishes Dan.
Bluzkeys
If you would search on XK1 and XK3 I believe there have been some past postings that listed parameter adjustments for the onboard Leslie simulator. Have fun. -Bill Bill Zerbe Albuquerque, NM
mate stubb
A real leslie has three speed choices on the horn - there are three pulley sizes to choose from on the motor. Moe ---
rod76
Top Horn: 400 RPM on Tremolo and 48 RPM on Chorale. Belt in the middle pulley position Lower Drum: 342 RPM on Tremolo and 40 RPM on Chorale. http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/LeslieRotationSpeed
K K
And IIRC, they turn in opposite directions.

mr_mez
Just one more thought guys. What about the approximate ramp up times for each rotor? I no longer have my 122RV for reference you see. Cheers Dan.
K K
I'd say roughly 1,5 sec for the horn and 6 sec for the bass to reach full speed. I remember on my old 147 it took about the same as well. That lower rotor needed much longer than the horn to speed up.
retrokeys
If you can get hold of a leslie 2101 owners' manual, there is a chart in the back that has rotor speeds and ramp up speeds for the 122 and 147. Since the 21 system has variable parameters for these, it is a good thing to have the original specs around. The manual also contains the crossover points for various leslies. mr_mez
If anyone is interested I now have both the service manual and the owners manual for the Leslie 2101 in PDF format. PM me... Regards Dan.
