Dan South
President Bush today announced that he wants to increase funding for NASA to moderize the aging shuttle fleet and eventually replace it with newer technology, possible a "space plane" that can essentially fly from the atmosphere into space. Funding for NASA has dwindled since the Apollo program. Further, the shuttle fleet represents 1970's vintage technology that was supposed to be in service for a decade. The space program cannot continue without a major upgrade, and I applaud the President for taking this stance and making a commitment to fight for the future of the agency and for space exploration. :thu: The Black Knight always triumphs! tnb
That's great. Let's hope that it is not just another opportunistic (is that a word?) lie.
