Dave Bryce Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 I own a VIPre. It's one of my favorite pieces of gear in my studio. It makes every mic I own sound great, and it's also an unbelievable instrument preamp. It's almost worth it just for the Rise Time feature, which I jokingly call the Vintagearizer. It's worth every penny, IMO. :thu: dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
S_Gould Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 Yep, what Dave said. I just picked up a second one so I could get the same sweetness with stereo pairs. Scott
Meriphew_dup1 Posted February 2, 2003 Posted February 2, 2003 Ditto the ditto on the Vipre. It's great for allowing your mics to perform at the highest of their capability, and it gives you flexibility in the great sounds you get. www.meriphew.com
