Recommended Posts

PREVIEW of mixes submitted for the SSS Mixing Event 2002-2003 MIXERS: IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, YOU NEED TO SEND ME A CD, OR POST A LINK TO THE WAVE FILE, OF YOUR FINAL MIX. SEE BELOW. WE ARE STILL PLANNING TO DISTRIBUTE CD QUALITY FILES OF THESE MIXES. DJDM WILL ANNOUNCE THE GROUNDBREAKING METHOD WE WILL BE USING VERY SOON. THIS IS VERY COOL STUFF - STAYED TUNED!!! < You may notice that I've performed a little revisionist editing to this thread. I call it "ostrich logic." You may call it censorship, but I promise to archive all the constructive comments that have been seemingly eliminated herein. > Here is the ORIGINAL mix by GT3 ©2000: GT3\'s original mix - Click here. Here is our esteemed Forum Moderator's mix: Craig Anderton\'s NYC 1966 Mix - Click here. Here are the mixes submitted so far, in order of submission: Henchman\'s mix - Click here. Master Zap\'s mix - Click here. Master Zap\'s updated mix - Click here. Milty\'s mix - Click here. d gauss\'s mix - Click here. Mr. Darling\'s mix - Click here. Josep Tvrdy\'s mix - Click here. Dirtydog\'s mix - Click here. Hush\'s mix - Click here. Lee Flier\'s mix - Click here. Riffing\'s mix - Click here. Urk10\'s mix - Click here. Maarten L\'s mix - Click here. dBunny\'s mix - Click here. Soundscape Studios\' mix - Click here. Ken/Eleven Shadows\' mix - Click here. Sal Orlando\'s mix - Click here. Kendrix\'s mix - Click here. DJDM\'s mix - Click here. Paul Berolzheimer\'s mix - Click here. Halljams\' mix - Click here. Christopher Kemp\'s mix - Click here. 20to20\'s mix - Click here. D-DMusic\'s mix - Click here. ***I'll add more to this list as they are submitted. WHY IS IT SO MESSED UP?
It probably was a bad idea to post up "previews". I think if we do this again- no previews! Is the thread gone forever?

None of your original posts have been deleted. You can PM me to find out where the original thread has been archived. I think I explained everything else in the first couple posts in this thread.

FWIW, when I participated in something like this over at RN's forum, the tracks mixed was from a participant's client and not directly from the participant. I hope you're not offended, George, as I mean no offense, but maybe next time, the tracks supplied is not any participant's personal work. Perhaps it would make something like this go smoother. My $.02.
sal's mp3 won't play on my machine, but others do
Hm, I wonder why that would be? What type of machine are you trying to play it on? I could certainly try re-encoding and re-uploading. I wonder if maybe my server isn't sending the right MIME type and it's coming down as a text file or something? Anyone else had this problem?

Could very well be the stars just weren't lined up right for this one. :) But it was just a bump in the road anyway - the journey continues! :thu:

Well, I was gonna start a new thread, but this odd one was 7 pages back, so I thought I'd execute a mega-bump... :freak: So-oh, how y'all been...? What's up with the RedBook/CD mixes...? Just what is DJDM's "Groundbreaking Method"...? Did I miss something...? Am I the only one curious...? Am I asking too many questions...?

I'll post mine tomorrow in full wave format. But I can still get my friend to remaster it. So if I get the time tomorrow morning I'll do it.

Incidentally, between my yet unsuccessful job search and my computer DAW, which unfortunately has to reside with every other computer program we own on a Celeron 600MHz HP Pavillion, being AWOL for over a month and a half, I am sorry to report I've accomplished no mixes. Would've been nice to at least been listed on the "Whatever happened to" list, dBunny. ;) Ah... to be invisible
