They have had great success in getting users together to discuss and learn more about everything SONAR. Here's some info on upcoming events in five different cities: Cakewalk User Forum/Boston chapter Next Meeting: Monday, October 29th 7:00pm-9:00pm. Location: Berklee College of Music, 22 The Fenway, Room F12, Boston, MA. Directions: 22 The Fenway is located three buildings from the corner of Boylston St. and The Fenway This month's topic: We will show SONAR 1.3 and discuss how to take advantage of the new features. Cakewalk User Forum/Chicago chapter Next meeting: Wednesday, October 31st 7:00pm-9:00pm Location: Columbia College Audio Technology Center, 676 N. LaSalle, Studio H, Chicago, IL Directions: Studio H is located on the SW corner of LaSalle and Huron, use the corner entrance off of Huron and go to the basement level. This month's topic: We will show SONAR 1.3 and discuss how to take advantage of the new features. Cakewalk User Forum/ Connecticut Chapter Next Meeting: Tuesday, November 13th 7:00pm-9:00pm. Location: Eastcoast Music Mall, Danbury, CT 06811 Directions: East Coast Music Mall is located at 25 Hayestown Rd. This month's topic: We will show SONAR 1.3 and discuss how to take advantage of the new features. Cakewalk User Forum/LA chapter Next Meeting: Monday, October 15th 7:00pm-9:00pm. Location: The Musician's Institute, Hollywood, CA. Room 385. Directions: The Musician's Institute is located at 1655 McAdden Place, between Highland and Las Palmas. This month's topic: We will show SONAR 1.3 and discuss how to take advantage of the new features. Cakewalk User Forum/Portland Chapter Next Meeting: Tuesday, October 30th, 7:00pm-10:00pm. Location: Guitar Center, Beaverton, OR. Directions: 9575 S.W. Cascade Ave. Beaverton, OR 97008 This month's topic: DirectX8 and effects automation in SONAR. With intuitive graphic envelopes we will demonstrate the ease of use and flexibility of FX automation available to SONAR users. In addition to the monthly forums, I'd highly recommend that all Sonar users check out Cakewalk's Sonar Newsgroup over at news://news.cakewalk.com/Product.SONAR. teh dri Posted October 9, 2001 Share Posted October 9, 2001 man the one thing im annoyed abut with SONAR is they have .ini files for the Roland MC-505 and MC-303, but not the MC-307! argh! anyone wanna help me out by emailing then like i did and continually asking for it [img]http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img])))))) i know there are those among you who dont give a $&^% about electronic producers like myself who have gear like this but it means a lot to me heh heh ps, my new mackie is awesome!
