OT NAMM BATS Leaving for the night!

I shot a decent video of the Bats of Austin leaving their roost under the Congress St. Bridge at dusk.

The video is compressed really bad on youtube but you can get the idea.

There are suppose to be apx 700k to 1.5 mil bats living under the bridge. The largest colony in North America.

The Keyboard crew got to see them up close and personal. It's really spectacular... Austin is home to an estimated 1.5 MILLION bats. At around 6AM, they all come back and fly in a very orderly fashion back underneath the bridge.

Byrdman, they had NAMM badges because the NAMM promoters would really like to count them all as attendees! It's too bad Cakewalk wasn't at this show, too, as I've heard the bats are all bigtime Sonar users. (Steve ducks the rotten tomatoes...)
