Nawor
Midnight Oil is no more. Lead singer Peter Garrett has retired from the group after more than twenty five years together... http://www.midnightoil.com/media.html Also INXS are back on the road with ex Noiseworks singer Jon Stevens. How he'll ever fill Michael Hutchence's boots will be interesting. I can imagine it would have been like the Doors trying to replace Jim Morrison, or the Stones replacing Mick Jagger. Sometimes the band just ain't the band without the main man! Then again AC/DC managed to survive after Bonn Scott's demise. 'Back in Black' was an absolutely ball tearing album for a first with Brian Johnson as the new front man... so I guess we'll have to wait and see! Mark V
Quoted by Rowan.
How he'll ever fill Michael Hutchence's boots will be interesting.
Well they've had plenty of time to find out cause he's been with them for a while now.I've never really liked INXS stuff that much. Shame about the Oils though, now they were a great band,I guess they're all getting on a bit. I once had a quasi-religious experience..then I realised I'd turned up the volume. Nawor
Hmmm... I kinda thought Jeff Martin from the Tea Party was almost a natural to replace Morrison in a Doors reformation. BTW...
