jtvrdy Posted January 24, 2003 Posted January 24, 2003 Somebody know how is posible print a report of used files in Logic Audio? thanks, Josep Tvrdy Vapor Studio www.vaporstudio.com A veces lo ms difcil es no hacer nada.
deanmass Posted January 24, 2003 Posted January 24, 2003 Couldn't you just do a series of searches (in windows explorer or Sherlock) using the file extensions, and copy the results to a word processor?
RangerJay Posted January 24, 2003 Posted January 24, 2003 You can view the Audio window, then select "Show File Infos" from the View menu. This will display the file names, sizes and physical location. You can sort by several criteria. Once you have things looking the way you want, press ALT-PRINT SCREEN (on Windows -- if you're on the Mac, you'll have to use the Mac key commands) to place a copy of the audio window on the clipboard. Paste the screen shot in a paint program and print it.

You can, in the Audio Window, choose Select All Used, then Copy the files to a new folder, and then print an image capture of that folder. Logic 6 has a new feature called Project Manager, which should have this functionality but probably doesn't (and it's only for for Mac OSX/OS9). sorry about that other drunken cretin... Dan South Posted January 26, 2003 Posted January 26, 2003 Logic 6 will probably have such a feature. One of the innovations in Logic 6 is a project based file management tool that keeps track of every file used in a sequence, even sample files used by the EXS24. Keeping track of audio files without something like this is cumbersome at best. Multiple takes create multiple files. I never know which ones I can delete without painstakingly paging through the Audio window. The Black Knight always triumphs!
Mr Darling Posted January 26, 2003 Posted January 26, 2003
Originally posted by jtvrdy: Somebody know how is posible print a report of used files in Logic Audio? thanks,
In the Logic audio window you can choose "used audio" or "unused audio" for that matter.. You might be able to copy paste the use audio to a text editor an print from there, or simply delete the unused audio (if you simply press delete it will only delete it from the audio windo, if you choose delete files from the menu it will delete them from your HD as well) In any case, for your logic Q's best place to visit is www.Sonikmatter.com :D Danny Rotshtein Danny - Studio Engineer Jingles show-reel Visit DarlingNikkie.com To discover the sounds of "Darling Nikkie"(aka Jade 4U). . . .
