Tedster Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 Try this. See what bizarre things you can come up with. Enter your first and last name on a Google Image Search and post the first image that comes up here. For example, I entered my name, Ted Hoffman, and I got an image of this guy, who I assume is another Ted Hoffman. But images may vary...in that it might have given me a picture taken by someone who shares my name. Try it for the heck of it... Jeff Leites Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 Ok, I didn't follow the instruction right the first time, so I'm doing it again: Well, it's still me, from 1967 when I was young and cute :D My Web Site - Tunes - Pictures - Guitar Projects - Native American Style Flute Projects - Hard Rock Cafe Guitar Pins My Eclectic YouTube Channel
patrick_dont_fret Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 When I entered my full name, it told me nothing was found. So I entered my last name...CupMcMali, get ready, you might not like this. You might like it alot, depending on your stance. First: My family's band, apparently. Second: Apparently we survived the Titanic, cool. Third: Yep, that's good ole Charles Joseph Kickham, alright. The guy helped start the Fenien Movement in Ireland. That's why we're over here. :D It's all true, though.
jackpine Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 Wasn't the first but it was the funniest Another good one.....me drumming for the Argo nuts??? Super 8 Posted January 19, 2003 Posted January 19, 2003 GREAT IDEA, Tedster -you 'ol geezer! You can't stop at the first pic though. This stuff gets interesting. Here we see a strange performance art piece: A bizarre sidenote is that I entered my first and last name, but this person's web page we share the same last name but not the first. However, he lives in a city that has my first name. I also found my middle name elsewhere on his page. So my full name is on his page but just not put together. I thought that was kinda cool. Now in this pic we see that I was born in 11/18/1898, and died in an insane asylum on 8/20/1966 -just six months before I was born again into my current re-incarnation (?)... Hmmmmm... I dunno about that. But it would explain some strange dreams I've been having. Sadly and out of respect, I should mention that this photo comes from a state cemetery for those who remains are unclaimed. In fact, this photo above was one of the more fortunate ones. There are many who's final resting place is marked only with a number. Super 8 Hear my stuff here
Tedster Posted January 19, 2003 Author Posted January 19, 2003 Ahh..I wish I could claim credit. But, I was inspired from another forum. Here's another one...turns out "Ted Hoffman" is a PBA hall of famer. Eat your heart out, Jeebus... Sylver Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 A link to an amature play with the following pic ... Different. I really don't know what to put here.
rog951 Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 I bet you can guess my last name... None more black.
Soundcrafter Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 I put my name in quotes (Ben Malone so we all know my real name :-) ) First: Second: and the funniest without my name in quotes: though there were way more funny-ish ones. But I still think mine's the best...
Bunny Knutson Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 This didn't surprise me. There's a luthier in Forestville, CA who has my name (I told him to give it back, but he insists on keeping it). This instrument is a double-neck electric mandolin that he built for the mandolin-player of Tempest, a Bay Area Celtic-Rock band. The top neck is a regular mandolin, and the bottom neck is an octave lower. Pretty neat, huh? https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
PBBPaul Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 I can't seem to figure out how to post a picture within the context of a message so here's the link: http://paulwilliams.com/paul.jpg And no, this is not me. Apparently he's quite the student of philosophy. If I had time, I'd read into it tonight. Perhaps tomorrow. Our new and improved website Today's sample tune: Lonesome One
Salyphus Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 A picture of me came up when I used 'sal orlando' so I guess that's not very exciting... So instead I put 'salvatore orlando' and got this A research astronomer in Italy. Seems like a cool dude. Amusingly, he looks a lot like a friend of mine...
