part1sts
Yesterday I found a killer deal on a Kawai K5000r so I purchased without thinking twice... I really want the keyboard version, but for now I guess I'll get used to the rack. From the interface I could tell that it is not going to be easy to master. Its funny how the two synths I own (at least in my opinion) are very difficult to master.. QS7.1 and K5000r.... Together we stand, Divided we fall. Clarke Wyvill
Yeah, I've got a QS 8.1 myself, the manual is so thick they HAD to make it a PDF file. But what can I say, I love the way that board feels. Besides, trampling though all their menus on a little LED forced me to learn a thing or too about synthysus that I probably never would have been keen to figure out had I bought a P80 instead. http://www.myspace.com/electricmonk
part1sts
Id just like to hear the possibilities of the qs7.1... maybe some demoes, just anything to inspire me to learn it. Together we stand, Divided we fall.
Clarke Wyvill
Messing with some filters and LFO, The pad in the background is multitracked, the bass is layered with a triangular lead synth sound. Most of the changes in the bass sound are triggered by velocity and modulated by a roland EV-5 pedal. Sorry about the lack of substance here, it's just me messing around in G, I think I spent like 2 minutes setting up. I'm more of a piano guy who wants to be a synth guy really Just some noise There a many much better demos here @ Alesis official site http://www.myspace.com/electricmonk
