Cruff
Did anyone out there who has the stage88 get the legs? I'm curious if I should order them, or just get a decent stand. I only need one tier, I can't tell if the legs are jenky or not.

eric
The legs list for $300 and sell for under $250. They are supposedly solid, according to the KB mag review. My friend has a STAGE and has the legs on order, but they had not arrived in the US the last time he checked. As for the legs vs. a basic stand, you do pay a premium for the legs. They are cool-looking, like using a Stage Rhodes with integral legs. You would need to come up with some way to cart them around. konaboy
I think you would be better off buying a table top stand with splayed legs. Exactly the same visual effect (albeit in black rather than chrome) but it will be suitable for other uses, may well be more stable, and cheaper to boot. My Roland stand would fit the bill: http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6937/1986/1600/DSC00610.2.jpg hang out with me at woody piano shack
Botch.
Heck, just get a guitar strap, it's light enough. Botch "Eccentric language often is symptomatic of peculiar thinking" - George Will www.puddlestone.net
