Bridog6996
I've been looking into purchasing some sort of phrase sampler/loop station type thingy. This is sort of a new realm for me, so any input would be appreciated. These are the specific items that seem to be along the lines of what I want: Boss RC20XL Loop Station Boomerang Phrase Sampler Digitech JamMan Looper Pedal Roland SP303 or SP404 I'm not exactly sure how I will end up implementing it yet, but I don't plan on using it as a main tool for performance (like a one-man show or something). I'm trying to add little bit of a new sound to my existing band. Think along the lines of the Benevento/Russo Duo, but with a five-piece band. I'd like to be able to create loops on the fly to create new textures during improvised sections, but I'd also like the ability to store samples for specific uses (composed sections for instance). From what I've been able to tell, the Roland SP303/404 seems the best option. The others seem more geared for real-time looping (like what Keller Williams does) and appear to be missing the sampler aspect that the Roland has. Has anyone ever used any of these products? And what were your experiences? Pros/Cons? Any help would be appreciated. My YouTube Channel
