Let's not pretend that it hasn't happened before...lots of charities (even legit ones) are skimmed by the companies that solicit funds in their name...then there are those that may be complete fakes (it's 3am, you're watching TV & here's little Pablo somewhere in the Phillipines---only pennies a day may buy him breakfast for a month...does he get the money? Who knows!).

The really sick part of this story is that the mother gave the 7 year-old girl pills to make her sick. The daughter thought she actually had cancer.

Really frightening.

dBunny, wow. That's amazing. That's almost too much to handle. I mean, how could anyone do that to their child? Especially the mother...the one person that's supposed to protect the child from illness at all times. I can't believe that. Geez...the horror.

I know what you all mean. It was hard enough on me when I had to discipline my kids, no matter HOW much their behavior begged for it. And don't get me started on my reaction to whenever they got hurt while playing. My wife, during her first two marriages, tried in vain to have children, and the removal of a tumor left her unable to eventually. She gets livid whenever she hears about these monsters! Whitefang
I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left!

I just can't imagine ever doing something like that to anyone. Not even an adult, not even if I really had it in for them. My God, what kind of monster does it take? These people need help, really. Psychiatric evaluations, then sent to prison, in solitary confinement. That's it.
