Laurent D. Posted January 16, 2003 Posted January 16, 2003 Hi all, I have actually a midi problem with my new congifuration: EX7 + Roland XV-5050 + Cubase SX. Not so easy to explain but let's try! Each time I do a "stop" command in Cubase SX, the sound cut short in my Roland XV-5050 (I can't hear the reverb or sustain at the end of the patch). It's like Cubase send a midi message to the Roland (I can see it with the midi led) and the sound stops brutally. I noticed it happens only when I use a script instrument definition. I tried several of them but it's always the same. If I use the original XV-5050 output(no script), then the problem disappear. I use a script for the EX7 too and all works fine, notes don't cut short. When I use a script, SX send a "all notes off" message to the XV (I can see it with the midi led on the Roland). If I don't use any script, the XV doesn't react at stop commands and all is fine. Furthermore, I use a script too for the EX7 and no cuts... I think I'm in the 4th dimension... If tou can help me... Thanks!
