Hytanon
For some reason, Ableton Live isn't recognizing my new Photon X25. I can't figure out why, but It's not allowing me to select it in input section. It's powering up, WinXP recognized the board, but i can't get it to work in live. Am I missing something? *Sigh*
Hytanon
Seriously though, am I just stupid? It's plug and play.
Hytanon
The board is recognized under sound devices in my device manager in windows.. it says "Photon X25" and it says it's working properly. Why won't any programs find it?

RABid
Do you have any other applications installed that you can try it with? Did it come with anything like Reason Limited? Sven Golly
Perhaps an email or a phone call to Ableton Live support ? Maybe a post in the Ableton Forum ? Not sure if 4 messages in an hour here is your most efficient way of getting an answer to your problem.... Cheers, SG
Hytanon
I've tried with Cubase SE, Reason 3.0, and Ableton Live. None of them recognize the board. I've installed all the drivers, and Windows XP recognizes the board. The only option I have in any of the above three programs are "MPU-401". None of them can even find the board. Alesis tech support offered that Maybe my motherboard couldn't give enough power to the USB port to fully power the board so I went out and got C batteries to power it externally, and it's still not working. No clue. I'll try the Ableton Forum. Thanks guys.
Hytanon
Alright, coming close to breaking this board over my head. Nothing is working. It works, and is recognized.. but programs don't see it. I don't know why. What the hell.
