fliptronica665
My friend has a basic keyboard from wal-mart, and he wants to know if he can re-circuit it so it will play better, cooler sounds than the basic piano 1 and piano 2. im trying to tell him if he buys a keyboard from wal-mart, u cant expect much, but hes convinced theres a way. Plus, im the one w/ a keyboardmag account. thanx
Prague
He's probably thinking of circuit bending. You basically open it up and hack at it until it sounds cooler (a subjective thing). Do a web search with the model number.

fisheye
If Pragues trick doesn't work, try putting more voltage on it. First it goes hot, than it cools down. Great effect.
