linwood
I 'd have to agree with you. I've been looking for some video footage of him, and I know it's around, but I can't seem to find it. I was lucky enough to have seen him in the 70's. Fantastic musician. He knew how to deliver melody/lyric. I'd say Extension of a Man and the Donny Hathaway Live records are required listening. Cliffk
100%! I can't find any video footage on him and (unless I'm totally inept) haven't been able to locate much on the web at all, except for a few brief, token biographies. It's a shame, really. kanker.
Donnie was indeed the man. Dude could definitely spank some keys, and that voice... A ROMpler is just a polyphonic turntable.
linwood
I just photographed this from the program that I still have from when I saw Donny in June of '73. http://bellmusicproductions.com/clientdownloads/donny.jpg
