B. J. Love
What have I done? I tried to clean things up a bit. Now when I turn the vibrato on, no vibrato and the volume of the organ drops to just barely audible. Started with everything cold - organ hadn't been on since yesterday. Took the tubes out and wiped them off with a damp cloth and dried them with a paper towel. Cleaned everything I could see with a vacuum and a can of compressed air. Put all the tubes securely back in their original sockets. Took off the top wooden panel (where the music stand rests - covers the drawbars and top manual) and vauumed all I could see - used a little compressed air too. Cleaned the exterior of the organ and keys - killing time while I made sure the tubes were absolutely dry. Fired 'er up and all seems to be well except the vibrato problem. Shut it down and started it up again. Same problem. Both manuals, depending on which switch is engaged. What did I do? Can I undo it easily? Suggestions?
