Andre Lower
Well Carlo, you have kept yourself on the right side of the line all the time, and Mr. Coackley has, as we say over here, "hung himself up" on his own. He got himself something that reaches farther than any legal suit or similar artifices: His name is now widely known as a liar. Now let the market rule... "I'm ready to sing to the world. If you back me up". (Lennon to his bandmates, in an inspired definition of what it's all about).
Dave Horne
One positive note - now when you google WC's last name he is the second hit. When this all started, he was the first hit. He has been replaced by a moving company. His stature in the world is coming down so to speak. I can only assume this episode is costing him money. Dave Horne
Perhaps Dave Bryce can comment on why that thread is blocked. I clicked on other threads, no problem. I searched Coakley at Harmony-Central and looked at other threads. That one thread seems to be off limits. Curious. As an aside, I contacted George Laks (from Lenny Kravitz) regarding his top listing at Coakley's Hall of Fame. George's response ... Hi Dave, with Lenny on the road, I use an upright piano with a Helpinstill pickup on it. At home I record with a Yamaha C3 grand piano and I mic it. The sample thing doesn't cut it for me with acoustic piano. George Laks No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message. marino
Unfortunately, a few people from HC has started responding to that thread just for the sake of it, and it was going to turn into some stupid flaming thing. Dave has removed it.
