fogman
Hello all! My 7 year old son is interested in taking up keyboards. Could you recommend me a good starter keyboard that will keep him interested but won't be overly expensive. thanks in advance.
Nu2Keys
I'm certainly no expert but I played a $149 Yamaha at Best Buy Sunday that had some pretty nice sounds, especially for a 7 year old, with built in speakers, rhythm section and a lot of stuff. I think they even make a model that's under $100. Check Yamaha's website for model #'s.
fogman
That's the kind of thing I'm looking for. ECONOMICAL All the music stores around here start at $400 + for entry level.
Dave Horne
I always recommend renting. If it doesn't work out, you're not out too much money and you don't have to worry about reselling. No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message. In general, harmonic complexity is inversely proportional to the ratio between chording and non-chording instruments.
