I don't think it's possible :( Hopefully they will add an audio input in a future revision, that would be an excellent feature! As if I didn't have enough reasons already to lust after one ;)

Not to my knowledge! The iPod lacks A/D conversion. That would be completely fantastic though!

I was looking into the IPod for that very reason. It didn't have the external recording capability, but Creative's Nomad does. The new firmware revision just added meters too. It records into an 1/8" jack. You can record either at 44.1/16 or .mp3 I believe. I haven't had a chance to play with it much yet, just coming off of the holidays, but I hope to be able to soon! -Chris
