Geoff Grace Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Hi friends: Although I usually go by soapbox at this site, my real name is Geoff Grace; and I post by both names. I think that most people here are aware of this by now; but just in case, here\'s a reminder . I didn't post much during the holiday season, but I plan to start posting more often again, and I may post as either soapbox or as Geoff Grace. This announcement is your "heads up!" :D As an additional reminder, my sig line for my Geoff Grace handle reads, "aka soapbox ." I hope that this helps avoid confusion. Best, Geoff My Blue Someday appears on Apple Music | Spotify | YouTube | Amazon
Bunny Knutson Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Hey, Geoff. I know Soapbox was ill over the holiday. Do you know if he's feeling better now? I hope so. Give him my best, would ya? Thanks! :D ;) :p https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/

Tedster Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Welcome back, Geoffsoap! "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
Salyphus Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Oh yeah, sorry about the tangent on your thread Geoff. Nice to see you back :thu:
Joachim P. Dyndale Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Actually I hope there won't be a film. I just can't see how it could be done. Most of the humour lies in the way the text is written. The story teller would be impossible to make work in a film. And anyway, to make this a GOOD movie you'd need a CG budget of at LEAST $500 million or so... -Joachim Dyndale -------------------- Einstein: The difference between genius and stupidity is: Genius has limits My Blog...
soapbox Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Thank you all for the warm welcome back, and I don't mind the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy tangent at all. Bunny, I am inching my way back to health; but I can't quite say I'm well yet. Yesterday, I left my house for the first time in over two weeks though. However, I saw my shadow and promptly returned! :D Actually, I went to the Vitamin World monthly sale. Today, I'm going to go to Whole Foods for groceries. I've got to treat my body better, 'cause it's falling apart! I hope that all of you are starting the New Year well. It's good to be back! :) Best, Geoff Enthusiasm powers the world. JDL Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Actually, this avatar doesn't really describe me at all. I wanna change it. But, it wont be more "wacky" well, maybe......................... I mean, I'm a rocker, I play classical on my viola. peace JDL on Purevolume Bird\'s Eye View on Purevolume
Tedster Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 I liked mini-bastard better. The "Oiled" avatar guy should be dancing at one of those happy hangouts. Different strokes for different folks, I reckon. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
