mdl25
I was about to buy the P60 - seemingly the best bang for the buck, I like the way it plays, Roland FP-5 a little too light, M-Audio keystation is a toy. I care 99% about action and feel - I use softsynths and rack sounds anyway. For home studio type stuff. But then I realized that these stage pianos don't have pitch bend wheels! What is the most cost-effective way to get first-class hammer-weighted action with pitch bend?
Dave Horne
Buy a second hand Roland A80 midi controller. It has an excellent weighted keyboard actionand a pitch bend wheel. I sold mine _with_ a flight case last year for less than 500 Euros. No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message. In general, harmonic complexity is inversely proportional to the ratio between chording and non-chording instruments.

Prague
The newer A90, maybe? They seem to be around. The A90 did eliminate the Poly aftertouch, but it added Bank Select.
fisheye
The Roland RD-600 is still floating around I think. It has the PA-4 action as well. Kurzweil PC88?
